Hey Mama’s welcome back to Follow Mommy Fridays

img955839

Every week ( I took off last week to celebrate 2 of my childrens birthday ) I shine the spotlight on a very special mommy that inspires me and I think will inspire you as well.

Today’s Mommy that you should be following is The Fresh Mom aka Fantasia McGuffie

Check her out on IG20190118_143025

Fantasia is a wife,  mother of 4.  She home schools her children while ensuring they eat healthy foods and runs her business The Fresh Mom Academy. What I like about following her page is her genuine transparency in her IG Stories about the ups and downs of motherhood, self care , living a Godly life and all things in between including nursing handsome newborn baby Carter.

I caught up with The Fresh Mom , check out our Q and A below ⬇️

Q.

When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?

A. So let’s assume that on this bad day I didn’t get a chance to shower or put on decent clothes… I’d take a shower, put on a little makeup, grab the keys after hubby gets home and go to Waffle House for a $2 (light) waffle, then head across the street to the Dollar store lol.

Nothing extravagant, but the 15 minute drive gives me quiet time with God and the opportunity to listen to what I want, as loud as I want! 😊
Q.

What is your favorite family tradition?

A. Bedtime! Lol, no seriously I enjoy heading out for random fun! Just spending time on the weekends, preferably outside with nice weather is perfect to me. I guess “Family Day” answers the question!

Q.

Fresh Mom Academy; love the name. What’s the inspiration behind the academy?

A. I’ve always enjoyed teaching others and giving them helpful resources! Now that I’m a mom and I’ve learned quite a bit on my journey these last 6 years, I’m excited to help other moms. The goal is to help them create healthier lives by starting where they are!

Be sure to Check out Fantasia and her Fresh Mom Academy there’s another session starting in a couple of weeks. Don’t forget to sign up🤗

  2. Such an incredible family you have and I may say that it’s a tedious work to do everything your doing. I’m very impress and gotta have that motivation also to acquire what you have.

  3. What a great Q&A with The Fresh Mom! I like that she’s transparent. So many times on social media, you see images and posts that are staged. I love authenticity when it comes to viewing other people’s feed.

  4. I like the way she relaxes, I think it’s definitely a great way. I do love driving myself and find it relaxing, especially when the road you drive on is beautiful. And the destination, where there’s a waffle waiting. 🙂

  5. She is very inspirational. It’s very challenging to juggle all of the things that she juggles every day and still get everything done! Kudos to her and all the moms out there!
